A multifaceted kaleidoscope of culture, the Chuck Taylor has been a boundary-defying staple of popular culture for decades. For the release of the next evolution of this iconic piece of footwear, we set out to bring this multifaceted character to light in a dynamic installation that made the viewer part of the scene. In Converse’s SOHO store, we built a life-sized kaleidoscopic experience that traced the evolution of the shoe, creating infinite reflections of product, light, color, the streets, photography—letting the reflection and movement of the viewer bring it to life.
